Limington and Upper Saco gauge correlation charts.
Limington & the Cornish USGS on line gauge
The table below is a work in progress. We hope to establish a correlation between the paddlers gage on the Rt 25 bridge pier and the USGS gage that is available on line. If you wish to report a reading of the paddlers gage email steve@bancroftcontracting.com with the reading, approximate time and the day/date I will then be able to check the online gage for that time and add the info to the table below. If we get several gage viewing at the same level on different days this will help us determine if there are factors that will throw off any correlation we may establish so even if you see a Paddlers Gage level all ready filled in please report your findings also as this will aid in accuracy later. If anyone has any rule of thumb or other input I would appreciate the info.

Upper Saco gauge correlation chart
This chart is to develop a correlation between the Paddlers gauge found on the down stream river right side of the center bridge pier in Bartlett and the USGS online gauge in Conway. This may or may not be accurate because of the distance between and the number of contributing rivers in-between the 2 gauges.
A time lapse 12 to 18 hours exists between Bartlett and the Conway gauge. So you must factor this in when any rain events or run off spikes due to hot weather. Many thanks to Mike Cummings who supplied most of the data.
